In the observance of International Day of Sports for development and peace on 6th April 2016, IPAD organizing Football for Peace activity at Total football club - 6th park Road Islamabad on 28th March at 7pm, which aimed to bring people together, by creating advocacy and neutral sporting environments that promote positive dialogue, mutual understanding and shared learning opportunities.

IPAD realize that during recent decades, there has been a progressive decline in the level of physical activity in people's daily lives. For a majority of people, little physical effort is involved any more in their work, domestic chores, transportation and leisure. Whilst specific health risks differ between cities, countries and regions, the fact remains that physical inactivity is a major risk factor for most common non-communicable diseases and physical activity can counteract many of the ill effects of inactivity.

One of a player said "Yesterday incident was tragic but getting here today to play we just want to let people know that we aren't scared, we will fight for peace" Awais. Another player Tahir mentioned "Without football, my life is worth nothing, he added that "People who stand together win, whether it will be against complex football defenses or the problems of modern society".

Trophy was presented to winning team by Ms. Mishal Chairperson IPAD, she addressed to players "Champions aren't made in gyms, Champions are made from something they have deep inside them – a desire, a dream, a vision" quoted Mohammad Ali excellently.
